About me

My Story
After my studies in Accounting at the University of Florida and my MBA at the University of Arkansas, I obtained my CPA license in Florida. I then joined Ernst and Young, Miami in 1987, where I was an auditor for clients like Coca-Cola, Knight Ridder and Mount Sinai Hospital.
I came to Germany in 1991 to work as an accountant for international companies in Europe. I began my European career as an internal auditor and controller for ITT in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany.
Ten years later, I was named as CFO/Board Member of a medium sized publicly listed German company by the management of the for the former East Germany’s largest company. I implemented major restructuring there, and completed a secondary offer and then another within the frame work of a merger (reverse Acquisition).
As an interim finance manager, I work closely with the management of my clients. My specialty lies in technical accounting areas such as statutory to GAAP and IFRS bridges, consolidations, internal control documentation (SOX) and testing, deferred taxes and other German and American administrative matters.
